Each cloud service provider charges a varying amount for the services it offers. The user base of such services has been expanding at a brisk pace over the years. It’s subscribers range from family users, working professionals and enterprise users. The amount of space available across different providers as well as plans caries. Typically, cloud companies provide free storage up to several GBs. After exceeding the free storage quota, e.g. 15GB, the user will have to subscribe for a premium plan or delete unneeded, duplicate files to reclaim lost storage.

Step # 1: Sign Up for a Free Cloud Transfer Service

Thanks to the technological developments, cloud transfer services have totally done away with the need to migrate manually. With a few clicks, you can move cloud content from 1 service to the other at a brisk fast pace.

Step # 2: Add Cloud Drives

MultCloud needs special permissions to navigate and access your cloud content. You might want to add Dropbox and Google Drive respectively.

  • Click the Add Cloud Drives icon in the left panel.
  • Select Dropbox icon.
  • Click Next.
  • Enter a Display Name and then click the Add Dropbox Account.
  • You’ll be prompted to allow privileges. Confirm the same.
  • After completion, add Google Drive in the same manner.

Step # 3: Move your Files with One-Click

The cloud content transfer is quite easy and similar to Windows File Transfer. Without needing to download a third-party File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program, you can move the files with single Cut & Paste features. Let’s do it.

  • Click the Dropbox icon in the panel located on the left-side of MultCloud interface.
  • Go to the root folder you like to move, right-click it and select Cut.
  • Click the Google Drive icon in the left panel.
  • Go to the destination folder where you would like to move the files.
  • Right-click an empty area, select Paste.

That’s it, folks. The selected folder(s) will now be moved to the destination safely and securely without causing any issues whatsoever.
