Amazon Drive to OneDrive Data Transfer

Amazon Drive is shutting down by the end of 2023. Its Android and iOS apps have been discontinued since Oct 31, 2022. A large number of people are looking for a way to quickly transfer their data from the dying service.

Product Spotlight: EASY CLOUD MANAGER (ECM) to transfer files across clouds. ECM uses official cloud APIs and provides amazing options to manage files on cloud. Use it free here: https://www.easycloudmanager.com/

What if you could transfer your Amazon Drive data to OneDrive instead of downloading it to your PC? Surely, the convenience of transferring data over the cloud will help you save a lot of time, local storage and Internet bandwidth.

Amazon Drive V/s Microsoft OneDrive

Both Amazon Drive and Microsoft OneDrive provide equally 5 GB of free storage. While Amazon Drive is primarily used for storing photos, OneDrive is used for all file types.

Both the cloud services are secure enough. However, OneDrive comes with additional security features such as the Personal Vault. This feature lets you securely store your highly confidential documents that can only be accessed with identity verification. You’ll receive a code on your registered mobile number, email address, or authentication app every time you want to access anything from the Personal Vault.

Is CloudHQ Free?

CloudHQ is not entirely free. It offers a free plan that supports unlimited transfers between different free cloud accounts.

If you’ve got a premium Amazon Drive or OneDrive account, or if you’re using a OneDrive for Business account, the CloudHQ free plan may not work. Also, the maximum supported file size in the free plan is only 100 MB. If you’ve got files with bigger size, the free plan is not for you.

The paid plans start from $149 with no freeware restrictions. The $149 plan offers many additional features such as unlimited backup and synchronization between premium cloud accounts and email support. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support business cloud accounts such as OneDrive for Business.

If you’re using OneDrive for Business, you will have to use the $399 plan that supports all the features in the $149 plan in addition to the unlimited backup and sync between business cloud accounts.
